A new Erasmus+ youth exchange project has been funded by the Greek National Agency, featuring Pro-Re-Active as a partner with the Blue Green NGO Association. The project titled “HEADING TO SUSTAINABILITY” aims to educate young people about sustainable development and has the final goal of producing a booklet of ideas for sustainable development. Participants in the project include Greece, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, and Romania, and it will be held in the beautiful city of Nea Kallikratia near Thessaloniki.
The preparatory visit has already taken place from January 18 to 21 at the municipality where the representatives of the associations met with the city’s deputy mayor, who expressed deep gratitude and a desire to collaborate.
Pasquale Siciliano, President of the Pro-Re-Active Association, stated: “We are pleased to expand our network of collaboration with members of associations and with the political parties of the city. Sustainability and Development are at the center of our mission, which goes through the commitment to offer more opportunities to young people in all parts of Europe who live in situations of discomfort and difficulty. Our goals coincide with those of our political and social partners. We are happy to contribute to the social development of these fantastic places that evoke the glories of Greek heroes, through the sending of participants.”
The project will take place from 15/03/2024 to 24/3/2024 in Nea Kallikratia and will involve various activities: workshops, study visits, intercultural dinners, with a theme of sustainable development and will involve 6 participants from Italy.”
